Worldcoo boosts its expansion by selecting Necomplus, member of ASEE Group, as a technology partner
The agreement comes after the successful collaboration in the Smart POS project of Banco Sabadell.
Worldcoo, the social company that helps social entities to raise funds through different solidarity micro-donation solutions, has closed a collaboration agreement with Necomplus to enhance its expansion and integrate its solutions into new payment gateways.
Worldcoo, a leading company in the management of micro-donations in Spain, has chosen Necomplus as its technological partner after recognising its expertise and reliability during the Android ecosystem migration project for the new Banco Sabadell app.
Micro-donations are a growing trend compared to other more traditional forms of collection due to their simplicity, the agility of the process and the confidentiality for the client, among others. Worldcoo, recently acquired by Delivery Hero (Globo), continues its expansion with Necomplus, which will integrate the solidarity rounding application into its suite of value-added apps for Android payment terminals. Necomplus will also provide expert technological support and guarantee the security of the initiative.
Since a few weeks ago, the solidarity rounding up app has been integrated into the payment devices of the Vincci hotel chain, which is raising money for Aldeas Infantiles SOS to provide shelter and support to thousands of children and families. Additionally, Alain Afflelou opticians’ shops have implemented the app to raise funds for the Afflelou Foundation. These initiatives highlight the success of solidarity rounding as a fundraising channel for non-profit organizations.
“We couldn’t have found a better partner for our expansion project than Necomplus, given its solid track record and the level of commitment and involvement it reflects in the projects in which it participates”, said Sergi Figueres, CEO of Worldcoo.
Undoubtedly, solidarity rounding has become a successful fundraising channel for non-profit organisations that, through a wide variety of health, education, or environmental projects, manage to capture the attention of society thanks to solutions such as Worldcoo.
“We are particularly committed to this project because it symbolises Necomplus’ CSR plan and now we are collaborating on initiatives that have a real impact on society,” said Juan Vicente Cantó, Necomplus ‘s Executive Chairman.
In the coming months, new integrations of the solidarity rounding application will be announced in the different retail chains and major payment networks in the country. By combining their expertise, Worldcoo and Necomplus aim to expand the reach of micro-donations and make a tangible social impact, demonstrating the power of technology and collective generosity in driving positive change.
