ASEE and EUROUZ Co-Host High-Level AI Seminar in Tashkent
On May 23, 2025, ASEE and the Europe-Uzbekistan Association for Economic Cooperation (EUROUZ) proudly co-hosted the high-level seminar “AI for Impact: Shaping the Future of Central Asia’s Key Industries“ in Tashkent, bringing together over 150 senior experts, government officials, and business leaders both onsite and online.
Exploring AI’s Transformative Power Across Industries
The event offered valuable insights into how artificial intelligence and automation are transforming strategic sectors across Central Asia — including energy, telecommunications, finance, infrastructure, payment systems, and public services.
Two focused panels addressed real-world applications of AI, covering themes such as customer experience transformation, institutional readiness, and the delicate balance between regulation, cybersecurity, and ethical AI adoption. Discussions emphasized the critical role of human expertise in ensuring responsible and sustainable innovation.
ASEE Experts Share Practical Perspectives
ASEE’s Krešimir Šuljak, Marin Curavić, Rino Miletić, and Visal Ahmet Ozten actively contributed to the discussion, sharing concrete examples and regional experience in deploying AI-powered solutions in complex systems and building resilient digital infrastructures.
Their insights underlined ASEE’s commitment to supporting organizations across sectors as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation.
